Finished in Marathon blue silver with a black vinyl interior, an unmarked black fabric roof and silver 15" pressed steel wheels with matching Continental contact tyres all round.

My first car was a 60's Beetle 1300, a wonderful car but was it reliable? Did it stop and steer? Not really ! I have always loved the early shape with a pope's nose deckled and'cal look' styling but 20 minutes in this honestly blew my mind, it drove more like a Golf than anything I can remember from my first days out on the road. It's nippy, the brakes are surprisingly powerful it changes gear nicely and over all is just a lovely thing to drive!

It has only just arrived with me, so I am awaiting the paperwork and info of the restoration but it sits here looking like it has just left the factory!
